Meet the team

Russell Harrison

Russell Harrison

Managing Director

With a background in sales & marketing and business management, Russell brings 27 years experience of business leadership.A strong believer in communication and leading customer service, this ethos is cascaded through the business and has helped in enabling double digit growth for HFM for the last 5 years.

He holds various cleaning qualifications, the latest one in 2021 being ICE Accredited (Industry Certified Expert).

His primary role is guiding the company to achieve continued growth with best in class service, the utilisation of leading technology and creating a stable and rewarding environment for customers and employees alike.

Tom Marples

Tom Marples

Operations Director

Tom started his career in accountancy and swiftly moved in I.T Management.

He then progressed to being the head of facilities for a national company with over 40 locations, where he was headhunted to join HFM.

These skill sets are a vital to HFM’s success story, and he is responsible for all operational aspects of the company, I.T,  infrastructure and service delivery.

He is instrumental in rolling out our programme of robot (cobot) cleaning machines to larger clients resulting in increased results whilst reducing costs.

His expert knowledge of software has resulted in HFM have class leading systems where efficiency is key.

Cleaning Manager

Greg joined HFM as a cleaning supervisor and it was evident from day one that we had been incredibly lucky to find someone with his experience and passion for cleaning.

He quickly proved his worth and was promoted to Area Cleaning Supervisor where he undertook further industry training and implemented these new skills with tremendous impact.

As HFM grew it was a necessity to have someone who oversaw all supervisors and cleaning operatives on a daily basis.

In addition to this he also leads all cleaning related training and site audits and is a vital part of the management team as he gives honest and transparent feedback on all cleaning related matters.

Simon Moore

Simon Moore

Sales Director

With almost 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, Simon is passionate about what HFM offer and takes a consultative approach to each client, ensuring a bespoke solution is agreed prior to any cleaning implementation is commenced.

His belief system towards client management and expectation is clearly visible if you spend any time with him and he strives to champion this throughout the business.

He loves a challenge and finding the correct solution for each clients needs, and he is big advocate of HFM being a extended part of your team.

Sarita Buswell

Sarita Buswell

HR and Office Manager

As the newest member of the management team, Sarita brings many years of HR and Office management experience.

Although she is very level headed and fair, she is also extremely pro active in harbouring a “one team” attitude and collaborating with all departments to ensure all colleagues are supported and listened to.

Training, education and staff development is very high on her agenda and she has already made her mark with policy reviews and processes that has been warmly received from colleagues across the board.

Andrea Chapman

Marketing Manager

With a strong, solid career history in the public, private and third sector, Andrea joined HFM to support the team with all marketing and communications activities.

Working closely with the directors and management team Andrea’s remit is to ensure that the groups brand and communications are on point.

She has a passion for writing and the digital landscape but her role is extremely versatile and with this she brings the skills and experience to be an all-rounder to meet the demands of the businesses and industries we serve.

ISSA Member – of the Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) the first consensus-based management standard that outlines the primary characteristics of a successful, quality cleaning organisation.

BICSc Corporate Member –  As well as our team being fully trained to The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) standard , we have been a corporate member for a number of years.

Safer Space – accreditation which demonstrates that we are not only contributing to creating a healthier environment but also that we care for the health and wellbeing of our customers, employees, visitors and wider global community.

ISSA CIMS – Harrison FM was the first commercial cleaning company in the UK to gain accreditation with honours in the CIMS global awards scheme.
