Fixed Wire Testing
Also known as Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), Fixed Wire Testing involves the testing of electrical services and systems that conduct electricity around a building. It covers all of the hard wiring in a building and includes items such as main panels, distribution boards, lighting, socket outlets, air conditioning and other fixed plant.
Fixed Wire Testing is required to make sure that electrical wiring is compliant with safety regulations. It reduces the risk of accidents, fire and potential prosecution it is important to ensure your EICR certificate is up to date. Without up to date certification your insurance could be invalid.
